Welcome
Welcome to the CaBan Bangor website. CaBan is a partnership between schools, Bangor University, the Regional Consortium GwE and the research institute CIEREI. Together we share the common goal of educating the next generation of world-class educators, from initial teacher education, through continuous career long professional learning. CaBan embraces the reform of the Welsh education system and is playing a vital part in delivering “Our National Mission”.
Our aim is to ensure that teachers across the region are fully prepared to deliver on the ambitious targets that Wales has set for the quality of its education. We need teachers who are innovative, creative, passionate and ambitious. Teachers who understand the Welsh language and culture and respect every child no matter what their ability or background. In this mission, we must not, and cannot fail.
